Mousewater minewater treatment
scheme has been nominated for a Saltire Society Award for Civil Engineering, in the Environmental Sustainability Category.
The Mousewater scheme is one of nine schemes which the judges decided deserved a commendation. There were a total of 23 projects entered, in 5 categories, two projects were entered in two different categories. The outright winner of the award was the new airport control tower at Edinburgh Airport (a major iconic structure in a class of its own).
The Saltire Awards were established to recognise excellence in Civil Engineering in Scotland, and a to receive a commendation is a significant achievement.
