leslie rendelfIn an extractive industry producing coal and gas, which are non-renewable resources, it is important that great care is taken to ensure that the sustainability balance sheet includes positive contributions, which demonstrate good faith, and counter balance those negative issues which are frequently publicised.reed 2
reed 6It is right therefore, that as a key licensing organisation who manages potential environmental liabilities, we set an example and encourage our partners at the sharp end of the business - the coal producers - to adopt well-founded procedures and also publicise their efforts. reed 4In our own organisation we are finding that 'green thinking' is influencing internal policy and the standards and practices of our outsourced contractors. The adoption of this element into making process at work, and in the home, must be the survival mission for everyone.reed 3
