PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF BRYN DEFAID LAND HOLDING

 

The Coal Authority are marketing the Bryn Defaid land holding which is situated near Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taff.

The property comprises a period farmhouse with outbuildings and adjoining land, and upland grazing and woodland areas – including restored areas formerly used for opencast mining. Parts of the Site may have potential for further opencast coal mining and/or other uses subject to planning permission and other necessary consents being obtained.

About 288 hectares (712 acres) available as two separate Lots
