Financial reports

The following reports form part of the Coal Authority’s 2008 internal audit programme and contain information about payments and salaries.

Authority Board Meeting Papers containing finance reports submitted to the Board, are available from June 1999 onwards, and contain details about Coal Authority expenditure.

Procurement and tendering procedures

The Annual Expenditure review Adobe Acrobat document provides information including schedules showing the amounts paid to consultants and contractors during 2007- 2008 and the trend over the last 4 years for expenditure with consultants.

The Procurement Manual contains standards, procedures and guidance on all aspects of procurement and has been designed as a reference and a benchmark for all the Authority’s procurement matters.

The Coal Authority’s e-Tendering Portal has offered a secure method of submitting contract tenders on-line since 12th July 2005.

Internal financial regulations

Financial Regulations Adobe Acrobat document (published 11th November 2008) have been produced to ensure the proper administration of the Authority’s resources. The Authority aims to ensure that all its resources are used economically and effectively.
