As part of our ongoing programme of electronic service improvements, the Coal Authority has now launched an  eTendering Portal . The portal enables providers and the Authority to despatch tender documents electronically by a secure environment and provides a simple and efficient means to manage the tender process.

Registered providers can access tenders via the Portal, download documents and submit offers back to the Authority. The service reduces time, effort and costs for all parties and is available at no cost to providers.

The Portal also provides details of current and forthcoming opportunities within the Authority's business.

The Authority is one of the eight early adopters using the OGC's managed service for eTendering and went live on 12 July 2005.
